Strong lightweight DefiSign/AIVIA cabinets are designed for indoor and outdoor storage for your defibrillator. A clear polycarbonate cover and green polymer base ensures that your defibrillator is protected in harsh environments. 

These materials are well known in the automobile industry, providing excellent shock resistance.  Polycarbonate is used for vehicle headlights and ABS for car bumpers.

Markings

The front face displays the survival sequence and three clear pictograms with instructions for use.
On the sides are the labels: AED (English) and DAE (Latin), separated from the ILcor defibrillator logo. 

Features

• Day/night LED lighting with sensors.
• Opening of the AIVIA is motorised for this model and access to the defibrillator secured by entering a pincode. 
• badge reader (RFID).
• One rechargeable battery, optional, guarantees motor operation.
• Opening the cover automatically triggers a visual alarm (flashing red leds).
• The audible alarm (95 dB) is activated if the cover is forced open.
• Heating is connected to a temperature sensor enabling it to be activated when a minimum threshold of 10ºC is reached.
• The ventilator fan is activated when the cabinet temperature rises
• A visual alarm using red led lights, signals abnormalities (temperature out of range).

Location

Mains power (24 volts DC) allows installation of the heating and ventilation elements and therefore this cabinet is suitable for outdoor use.

• Internal ventilation reduces excessive temperatures in the defibrillator compartment, however in the absence of air conditioning, the AIVIA must be located in shade to avoid excessive heat build-up.
