Types of Philips AED trainers
The Philips HS1 trainer is almost the exact copy of the real HS1 defibrillator and that means it is easy to user for anyone.
The Philips FRx trainer has a higher dust and water resistance than the HS1 unit. Ideal for training in places like swimming pools, workshops and warehouses. The real pro of the FRx trainer is the infant key. No paediatric pads needed!
The Philips FR2 unit with its Laerdal LINK Technology can be used with Laerdal Little Anne or Resusci Anne manikins for direct feedback on, for example, the placement of the electrodes.

The unit resembles the real defibrillator, yet is sufficiently different to avoid inadvertent use in an emergency.
The trainer has 8 pre-programmed "sudden cardiac arrest" scenarios which meet the ERC guidelines 2010. AED will operate during a real-life cardiac arrest event. Coaching for both adult and infant/child CPR is included.
Works with internal and external pads adapters, allowing the instructor to provide some or no clues toward pad placement, resulting in the most realistic training. Supports training for both adult and infant/child patients.
The trainer can be used with a CPR manikin using the internal adapter (optional). This ensures the proper conduct of the scenarios.
