Improved Specifications

In 2024, Mindray upgraded the BeneHeart C1A model. The new model (v2) is equipped with a compact 1.96" LCD screen. The screen displays important information such as the run-time, number of shocks delivered and the battery status. It also provides the ability to check the system version, perform a manual self-test and view error codes. During an intervention, visual guides are provided by means of green LED lighting on the screen when placing the electrodes. A new acoustic alarm has been added, making error messages stand out even better. When closing the lid, the defibrillator automatically checks the electrode connection, if they are not connected, it is indicated by a flashing red status indicator and an audio alarm.

Low Maintenance Costs

The battery and electrodes have a lifespan of approximately five years, which ensures minimal replacement needs and low total maintenance costs, as long as the device has not been used.

Rapid Deployment

The BeneHeart C1A performs daily self-tests and a flashing green LED indicates that the device is ready for use. The pre-connected electrodes ensure that the defibrillator is quickly operational and thanks to QShock technology, the first shock can be delivered within 8 seconds.

In addition, the new LCD screen shows the following information during use: 

• 2: Run time of the defibrillator
• 4: Number of shocks administered
• 7: Battery level of the defibrillator
• 8: Lights will blink until the electrodes are correctly applied

Quality and Durability

The device has been extremely well tested for impact resistance up to 1.5 meters on 6 different surfaces.

Suitable for All Rescuers and Patients

With the ResQNavi technology, the device recognizes if a rescuer hesitates when applying the electrodes and adjusts the spoken instructions to become more detailed. The device can also easily be switched to another language. The child mode reduces the energy and adapts the CPR protocol to 15:2, making it suitable for use on children without having to change the electrodes. A unique feature is the automatic compensation for patient impedance, which means that in the case of an overweight casualty, the shock strength is automatically increased.
