The Powerheart G5 pediatric electrode set is applicable for children aged 1 - 8 years and lighter than 25kg. When the pediatric electrodes are connected to the AED, the shock level of the AED is automatically reduced. Electrode positioning is indicated on both the packaging and the electrodes themselves.

Shelf life of the G5 pediatric electrodes.

Electrodes have an expiration date due to the conductive gel that can dry out. They may no longer be used after the expiration date. Therefore, make sure that you always have an unopened set of electrodes with an expiration date. The Powerheart G5 pediatric electrodes have a shelf life of approximately two years. The expiration date can be found on a sticker attached to the back of the package.

• Approximately 2 years shelf life
• Store at a temperature between 0°C and 43°C
• Electrode cable length: 130 cm
• Cannot be used pre-connected

Application in children:

For children younger than 8 years and lighter than 25kg, special children's electrodes can be used. For children, one electrode is placed on the chest and one on the back of the victim.
