DefiSign LIFE/Schiller FRED Easyport Pediatric electrodes.

The electrodes can be used for infants and children aged 1 - 8 years and weighing under 25kg. When connected to the defibrillator, the shock level is reduced. Also, the defibrillator immediately switches to the protocol for pediatric CPR.

Shelf life of the pediatric electrodes

The shelf lIFE of the electrodes is approximately 2 years. You can find the exact expiration date on the back of the package. Please note that as pediatric electrodes, you should stick to the package that has "paediatric" written on it. Electrodes have an expiration date because they have an adhesive, conductive gel that can dry out over time. Use of electrodes with an expired expiration date can lead to negative consequences at the time of a deployment. Therefore, always keep an unopened and unexpired package with the defibrillator. 

The connectors for the FRED Easy and the FRED Easyport differ. When ordering, please ensure that you place the correct electrodes in the shopping basket.

Characteristics of the pediatric electrodes and application

• Approximately 2 years shelf life
• Store at a temperature between 0°C and 50°C

Application to adults:
