Product Description
CU Medical i-PAD SP1 pediatric electrodes
The SP1 pediatric electrodes can be used with children aged 1 to 8 years and lighter than 25kg. Compared to the adult electrodes, the electrodes are smaller in size. This allows them to be better positioned on the victim's chest and back. The correct place for positioning the electrodes is shown on the packaging. Through the "pull" lip on the electrode package, these are easy to pull out at the time of a deployment. There is a button on the AED that can be changed to a child mode. When it is used and the pediatric electrodes are inserted, the AED automatically reduces the shock level.
* When the child button on the AED is used, the AED automatically reduces the shock volume. This is also the case when adult electrodes are connected.
Storage life of the i-PAD SP1 Pediatric electrodes
Electrodes contain conductive gel. Because it can dry out, electrodes have an expiration date. Electrodes should not be used after the expiration date. Therefore, always have an unopened set of electrodes with an expiration date that has not yet expired connected. The SP1 electrodes have a shelf life of approximately 2 years. The expiration date can be found on a sticker on the back of the package.
