The Powerheart G3 Pro battery is also considered Caridac Science's IntelliSense Lithium battery. The G3 Pro AED has a battery status indicator. When the lid of the defibrillator is opened, LED lights show how much capacity is left in the battery. If the battery still has enough capacity? then the green lights illuminate. When the battery has a low voltage or when it is empty, a red LED lights up. When this is the case and the lid is opened, the G3 Pro AED gives the message "battery weak". When the battery voltage is low, an audible signal sounds when the AED is closed. Also, the status indicator is on red. If the battery is not replaced in a timely manner and the battery becomes completely empty, the status indicator remains on red, but the acoustic signal disappears.

Powerheart G3 battery warranty:

Batteries from Cardiac Science have a long service life. The G3 Pro battery comes with a 1-year warranty from the insertion date. It is recommended to record the insertion date properly or even write it on the battery. When the battery is inserted into the AED, it will perform a self-test. When the self-test is completed successfully, the status indicator will turn green. Should this not happen immediately? Then open the cover for a few seconds and then close it again. You will see that the status indicator (if the AED is functioning properly) will then still turn green.
